Hair Color

The trends for hair color this season will vary from platinum blonde shades to chestnut, mahogany, dark chocolate and black. Some hair color techniques that will continue are the highlights “balayage” and “sombre”. Unlike the technique of “ombré” the color degradation is not so extreme and it sits quiet nicely on dark and olive skin; we recommend that you ask to your hair stylist for honey gold , caramel or copper highlights.

Hair Cuts

Haircuts trends are very mixed this season, we have from the very long hair to the very sexy pixie haircut. For professionals it’s more suitable a medium length haircut (Kate Middleton Style) that is long and sophisticated for career women.

We also see the raise trend of bobs, long bobs, angled bobs, every kind of bobs! If you are looking for a short haircut pixies are the reason for the season; you can choose from short pixies, long pixies, razored edge pixies, grown out pixie, curled pixie and more.

For teens or very creative people (a totally different market) we suggest exploring with very long hair, layered and if you are in the mood for something different try pastel colors .

Hair Styles

Hair styles that stand out this season are variations of cascade braids, fishtail braids and hair buns. If you want something chic “wet style” is back. To achieve this look, straight your hair, apply gel only on the top of the head and brush back (or you can experiment using coconut oil while you nourish your hair) remember to apply the product only on the top, the rest of the hair must be kept out of product and very straight. The secret is to keep two different textures.
