This Fall/Winter season at Mercedes Benz Fashion Week Mexico designers presented their own international vision for the future of fashion through their unique and strong pieces with solid colors mixed prints, unusual materials, high-society lady like pieces like tight skirts, capes, lengths of sheer dresses revealing the amazing fabric work and relaxed feminine silhouettes with the still predominant but very elegant black and white.
During the 13th edition 17 designers presented their Fall/Winter 2013 collections. This time we enjoyed the collections of Macario Jimenez, Pineda Covalin, Trista, Alexia Ulibarri, David Solomon, Centro, Black by Mauricio Olvera and Leonardo de Lozanne, Alejandro Carlin, Pepa Salazar, Royal Closet, Alejandra Quesada, JI + B, Carla Fernandez, Lorena Saravia, Malafacha, Pink Magnolia, Lydia Lavin and Julia and Renata.
Every year we are witness of the development of the fashion industry in Mexico and this year we saw the efforts by seeing a new format called “The Box” where guests meet the designer and they can approach in a very dynamically way to see their collections. The Designs of Macario Jimenez, Lacoste, Carla Fernández, Lorena Saravia and Contempo are part of this new fashion platform.
